Classical Ballet School provides pre-professional, classical ballet instruction in a formal, small group setting for students committed to learning and progressing in their understanding and execution of classical ballet technique and artistry. CBS class sizes are limited and placement is determined by the Director.
Classical ballet instruction begins at age 5 with our unique Enchanted Forest Pre-Ballet. This class is an imaginative story-based journey that weaves together an appreciation for the beauty of nature, classical music, ballet technique, and friendship.
Performing experience is an essential part of the Classical Ballet School curriculum. All CBS students perform each June in an original, full-scale, professional quality ballet. Our ballets have included Coppelia, Hansel & Gretel, The Twelve Dancing Princesses, Sleeping Beauty, The Snow Queen, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Rapunzel, The Nightingale, Snow White & Rose Red, and Raven Wing.
