One of the challenges in any school is maintaining effective communication. Whether it’s updates from administration to faculty, teachers to parents, teachers to students, parents to teachers…and all zig-zagged combinations in between…the importance of keeping everyone informed is vital. What matters most? Your child’s education matters most to us. That’s the bottom line. At Epic, our focus is engaging your family in a unique approach to education. In order to do that, though, it’s critical that we maintain a line of communication that works to give you the information that’s most relevant to you and your family. Introducing Remind… Remind is a free app used by millions to stay in touch with their school. What’s great about the app (besides being free) is that it can be used across school districts. That means if you have a child enrolled in Epic and another at a local public school, you can use the app to manage updates and notices from both schools…in one place. And, since so many schools and teachers have already begun using Remind, there’s a strong chance you can experience it the same way. How is Epic using Remind? Our plan is to use Remind to keep everyone notified of school wide news and notices much the way we use email. We’ll send reminders about meetups, upcoming events, important deadlines, and yes…those pesky spring tests. Don’t worry, though. We don’t want to bombard you with notices, but we believe keeping you informed of the latest news is important and there’s hardly a better way than delivering it directly to your phone. Click here to learn more about Remind and how it works. Downloading the App… Downloading the app is simple and FREE. The easiest route to getting updates is to simply send a text message to the number 81010 and enter @epiccha as the message. Then, hit send and follow the instructions delivered immediately to your phone.
