Epic Charter Schools unveils OKC micro site

OKLAHOMA CITY (Sept. 24, 2024) – Epic Charter Schools today announced it will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its Oklahoma City micro site location from 4-6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 27, located at 8117 NW Expressway. The all-ages event is open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

A micro site is an Epic-run, dedicated space for students and teachers to meet. Epic currently operates 36 micro sites statewide, with a long-term goal of having one in each of Oklahoma’s 77 counties. All Epic micro sites are staffed by customer experience professionals, who can assist families with enrollment, returning school-owned assets (such as laptops) and an array of school-related functions.

Currently, more than 10,000 students live within a 30-mile radius of this micro site, representing some 7,300 families.

Epic Charter Schools is Oklahoma’s largest virtual charter school serving approximately 30,000 students from PreK-12th grade statewide. Epic provides Oklahoma students and families with a modern, tuition-free online learning experience with one-on-one instruction from an Oklahoma-certified teacher, supplemented by in-person support as needed.
