OKLAHOMA CITY (Aug. 14, 2023) – Epic Charter Schools will kick off a statewide, seven-city 2023-24 Back-to-School Expo series from noon to 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 15 at Southern Technology Center, located at 2610 Sam Noble Parkway in Ardmore.
Prior to the Expo, there will be school pictures, a scholastic book fair, canned food drive and free community health checks from 10 a.m. to noon. Translators will be on-site for those who need language support.
Epic’s Back-to-School Expos are social and informational events where people can meet families with students at Epic and learn about everything Epic has to offer through presentations as well as caregiver and student-focused breakout sessions throughout the day.
“Our annual Back-to-School Expo is designed to showcase the many ways you can access the numerous resources our school has to offer, connect with other Epic families and build the personal relationships that are so important, especially in a school model that is mostly virtual,” Epic Superintendent Bart Banfield said. “Come learn about new programs, initiatives, clubs and more that will be launched this year. Families will leave with tools and materials to empower them as the 2023-2024 school year begins.”
The events are free and open to the public. Registration is required. Full schedule and links to RSVP are below.
Epic representatives will share info and answer questions, and there will be an Ask Epic booth where families can ask questions specifically about enrollment where Epic Development Specialists can guide them through the entire enrollment process step-by-step.
Refreshments will be available for all attendees. Each student will receive a gift bag, and door prizes will be available including hotel stays, restaurant gift cards, green fees for golf, and more.
