Dear EPIC Families:

With the advice of the Drillers and Tulsa meteorologists because of the extreme likelihood of severe weather in Tulsa tomorrow evening, the decision has been made to cancel the 5 p.m. Thursday, May 27 EPIC graduation ceremony. Thunderstorms, which could include hail, seem certain and could occur during the ceremony or immediately following it. We understand the inconvenience and frustration this will likely cause but the health and safety of our families and staff must be our primary concern.

HOWEVER, the weather forecast for Friday looks good at this point and we want to invite anyone registered for the Thursday ceremony to register today for a Friday ceremony.

That’s right. Because state and federal guidelines regarding wearing masks in public and social distancing have been relaxed, the Tulsa Drillers can now operate at full capacity for both the noon and 5 p.m. ceremonies on Friday, May 28. That means anyone who was registered for Thursday’s ceremony will be able to attend either ceremony on Friday and NOT be forced to reschedule to July.

We have reopened registration for both Friday ceremonies in Tulsa. Registration will remain open until midnight tomorrow. You will NOT be required to obtain new guest tickets for the Friday events as all tickets that were issued for Thursday will be honored. You may register for either Friday event by visiting

You may also register for our rescheduled Oklahoma City events on either July 9 or 10 by visiting

We appreciate your understanding and patience as we do everything in our power to make this year’s graduation ceremonies special and memorable for everyone.
