The purpose of the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) Fund is to help safely reopen and sustain the safe operation of schools and address the impacts of COVID-19 on the nation’s students by addressing students’ academic, social, emotional, and mental health needs.
Epic Charter School has been allocated $44,915,274.76 in ESSER III funds to address learning loss and COVID-19 relief. These funds are for onetime or short-term expenditures.
We must be strategic in how we use the funds to ensure that decisions made can be sustained once the money has been spent. Please take a moment to watch the ESSER video above and then take the survey to provide input on how we can best use the funds to meet the needs of our students and staff.
