Math? And…basketball? OH. YEAH.

Join us for an exciting day on the Oklahoma City Thunder basketball court. EPIC teachers will present Math lessons for students in grades PreK-6 in this “out of the box” and “on the court” approach to arithmetic.

Court of Dreams Event Day Details:

Transportation: Students can be transported by parent or EPIC Charter Schools teacher. The school will not be responsible for transportation unless students are attending with their Learning Center Groups. Otherwise, parents will setup proper transportation.

Parking: There are several parking garages or parking lots available to park downtown. The Cox Convention Center is located directly north of the main entrance of the Chesapeake Arena. Bring $5-$10 for parking the day of the event. **Meters are not free during the weekday.

Clothing: Wear appropriate shoes for the court. NO heels or shoes that will scuff up the court! If you wear inappropriate shoes you will not be allowed to participate.

  • Yes, it is FREE.
  • Students enrolled in the Blended Learning Centers in Oklahoma City & Tulsa DO NOT need to RSVP.
  • Students enrolled in the Blended Learning Centers WILL have transportation provided.
  • Parents are encouraged to stay and watch. There will be plenty of room in the arena.
  • This is not a basketball game. Instead, we use this as a time to engage students in applied mathematics and allow them time to meet other students their age.
  • Students are grouped by grade levels and are taught by Epic teachers with grade-level math certificates. This event is for students in Grades PrK-6.
  • Lunch is not provided, but concessions may be open during that time. More information will be provided before the event.

      Here in okc, the blended learning center didn’t open until 12:30 for students who didn’t attend
