Community Outreach

At Epic we want to make the world a better place!  We implement initiatives throughout the year to empower and improve the overall quality of life for our Epic students and their families in need.  We help provide tangible resources to help students be successful.

Upcoming Community Outreach opportunity

Epic Cares and the Family Engagement Department would like to extend a heartfelt “Thank you” to the Epic families and staff, businesses, churches, communities, and everyone who donated to the Epic Suitcase Project! We collected more than 20,000 items and continue to distribute these extraordinary donations to our students and families who are experiencing homelessness. The Epic Suitcase Project has been an amazing opportunity. Not only has it been an unprecedented event for our school, joining so many in a united purpose to help those among us who need the most assistance, but it has been a reminder that, when it truly matters, Oklahomans come together to take care of their own. Words cannot express how grateful we are to everyone who pitched in – from the families and communities who donated, to the staff and volunteers who coordinated collection and distribution. We couldn’t have done it without you. Literally. As impressed as we are with the overwhelming generosity we’ve seen, this is just the beginning! Phase two of The Epic Suitcase Project will ensure both current and new families enrolling at Epic will have access to this program, in addition to the numerous other support mechanisms and services we offer. For more information about the wrap-around services Epic offers its students and families, please visit https://epiccharterschools.org/social-services.

Thank you again for your kindness and support.
Sincerely, Bart Banfield, Superintendent

Community Service

Epic Charter School Community Service was started around the belief that we can bring a ray of sunshine to others by serving our community, bringing hope, and a ‘why not’ mentality.   We strive to show our students the importance of helping others in their community.

Space is limited for each service project.  Reservations for each individual service project will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis, so complete the registration to hold your spot as quickly as possible. There will be different age requirements based on where we are serving. Parents and guardians are asked to attend to chaperone their students and provide transportation to and from these service projects.

High School students will receive volunteer service hours for High School credit.  If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration to give other Epic students and their families the opportunity to serve.

Additional community service opportunities will be posted to this page and the Epic Charter School website calendar as they become available.
